This year St Mary's Parish is offering the Sycamore course. All are welcome.
Sycamore is an informal course about the Catholic faith and its relevance for life today. It gives you space to meet other people, share ideas, explore your beliefs, and think about questions that really matter.
Each Sycamore session features a short film about a key aspect of Catholic faith and life, serving as the launching point for reflection, sharing, and discussion in small groups.
Who is Sycamore for: Current Catholics, those returning to the Catholic Church, and anyone considering the Catholic faith. Learn and reflect on the fundamentals of Catholic faith and make connections with others also interested in exploring and deepening their faith.
| Sycamore @ St Mary's 2026 begins on 14 July and will continue each week until 15 September. When: Tuesday evenings, from 7.00 pm to around 8.45 pm. Where: The Pioneer Room (upstairs), St Mary's Parish Centre, 150 Yarra Street, Geelong. There is no charge to attend. |
Please note: St Mary's is presenting the Sycamore course (sometimes referred to as the 'Catholic Alpha') this year rather than the Alpha Course.
