"Faith and Light gives to persons with an intellectual disability the possibility of being recognised as unique persons, and using their gifts and discovering the joy of friendship."

Faith and Light is a worldwide Christian community formed at Lourdes in 1971. Faith and Light communities enable people with a disability and their families, friends and other supporters to come together to share faith, food, fun and friendship and to celebrate the gift of one another.

"Friends of Faith and Light Geelong" has now been meeting for over four years, based at St Mary's Parish, but open to anyone throughout the Geelong region (and beyond), including members of other Christian communities.

The meetings are held from 1.30 pm to 4.00 pm in the Pioneer Room, St Mary's Parish Offices (top floor), 150 Yarra Street, Geelong. You can access the Pioneer Room via the lift at the Yarra Street end of the building or via the ramp at the other end. You are welcome to arrive and meet others from 1.00 pm, with the meeting proper beginning at 1.30 pm.
