PLEASE NOTE: THE BASILICA REMAINS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

The Chief Health Officer has declared the City of Greater Geelong, the Surf Coast and Mitchell Shire will enter a seven-day lockdown commencing at 11:59pm on Sunday 19 September, with restrictions the same as those in the City of Ballarat and metropolitan Melbourne, excluding the curfew.

As a result, the Basilica will remain closed and there are no Weekday or Sunday Masses celebrated until further notice.

QR CODE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY LAW - IF UNABLE TO DO SO YOU MUST SIGN IN MANUALLY (TABLE IN THE MAIN ENTRANCE). QR CODES ARE AVAILABLE AT THE ENTRY POINTS (NARTHEX), ON THE PEWS AND IN THE CURRENT BULLETIN FOR EACH TIME YOU VISIT THE BASILICA, EVEN IF TO PURCHASE FROM THE PIETY STALL.

Reconciliation will be held after the 10.00 am Mass on Saturdays in the Basilica - finishing at 11.00 am. You must QR register your attendance, and wear a mask indoors. Please sanitize and 1.5m social distance.
