The Basilica Choir rehearses each Thursday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the Sodality Room, St Mary's Basilica, 136 Yarrra St, Geelong. St Mary's Junior Choir The St Mary's Junior Choir was formed in April 2004 and now has about 20 dedicated members - boys and girls - from Prep to Year 7. The children practice once a week and present their efforts at the Family Mass in the Basilica each month. Practice is great fun with dancing, games and of course - singing! Encouragement awards are presented each week to choir members who have put in a particularly fantastic effort. Choir practice is a very non-threatening environment with songs learnt by repetition and listening - all members are carefully encouraged to do their best. Practice : Friday, 4.00pm Hibernian Hall, 150 Yarra St, Geelong - adjacent to the Parish Office. No practice school holidays (if we can help it!).
