ST. MARY OF THE ANGELS PARISH

The Basilica Choir sings regularly at the 9.30am Sunday Mass unless otherwise indicated. The choir aims to present liturgical music of all styles and periods within the worship of the Church. The Choir welcomes new singers in all voice parts. Come and join us and contribute to the music ministry of the Parish.

The choir rehearses every Thursday night at 8.00pm to 9.30pm and on Sundays from 8.55am for the 9.30am Sung Mass.

St Mary's Junior Choir (11-Mar-2005)

The St Mary's Junior Choir was formed in April 2004 and now has about 20 dedicated members - boys and girls - from Prep to Year 7.

The children practice once a week and present their efforts at the Family Mass in the Basilica each month.

Practice is great fun with dancing, games and of course - singing!

Encouragement awards are presented each week to choir members who have put in a particularly fantastic effort.

Choir practice is a very non-threatening environment with songs learnt by repetition and listening - all members are carefully encouraged to do their best.

Practice : Friday, 4.00pm St Mary's Basilica Sodalities Room - ask at office if you don't know the way - no practice school holidays (if we can help it!).

Family Mass : 4th Sunday of each month, 11.00am St Mary's Basilica - next Mass on Easter Sunday.
